Dyanne K Earley

October 16, 1937 - July 24, 2014

Thank You!

The Earley family wants to thank everyone, from the bottoms of our hearts, for attending Dyanne Earley's Celebration of Life ceremony. We couldn't be happier with the wonderful speeches and performances that demonstrated how Dyanne was such a wonderful woman, friend, artist, sister, performer, director and mother. We loved meeting with everyone and sharing stories and the love people had for her. I know she was very happy with the life she was able to share with such great people.  In her words "She had a Blast!"

Love,

The Earley Family

Obituary

Dyanne Kathleen Earley (Teasdale) Mundelein, IL, died Thursday evening July 24, 2014 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She retired in 2001 as the Artistic Director of the Marriott Lincolnshire Theatre in Lincolnshire, IL; a title she had held since 1980. She was with the company for 25 years. During her tenure at The Marriott, she directed countless productions, including THE FIRST, MY FAIR LADY, WINDY CITY, and MISS SAIGON (garnering Joseph Jefferson Nominations for Best Direction of a Musical for each of them). She was the first woman to be nominated for direction of a musical by the Jeff committee. In addition to that distinction, she had a passion for producing and directing new musicals, writing children’s theatre, and is credited with launching some of the biggest names in Chicago theatre.
